Ophelia is the third capsule collection of one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces sculpted by Léa Robin for the launch of her brand Cendres. Designed for the table and the home, this collection blends surrealist inspirations worthy of the banquet scene from Jacques Demy's Donkey Skin with an organic-baroque world evoking John Millais's painting of Ophelia. Each piece is hand-modeled in smooth white stoneware; the plates and small bowls are decorated using sgraffito — a technique of carving into tinted clay — then layered with glaze for a result that feels truly alive and vibrant.
